Last Thursday, we had an unusual sighting in Willow Grande... a goat was seen in and around our neighborhood. After several attempts with my neighbor, David (gotta love a neighbor who will drop what they're doing and help you chase a goat!), at trying to catch the goat (we were using a very technical trap combination of black peppered ham and a dog leash), we were unsuccessful.Several others spotted Nannie in and around Castlewoods, but on Monday night, a neighbor decided it was time for Nannie to go. Animal Control came out and tranquilized poor little Nannie.
I am not sure of the outcome of the mission, but I am hopeful that she was returned to her home. For when trying to sell a home, it probably would look better not to have a goat running rampant through the yard or nibbling on the bushes!
